Number 5: Alvotech and Advanz Pharma extended their partnership to commercialize 5 biosimilar candidates across Europe.
Number 4: Infliximab (IFX) biosimilar SB2 was shown to be safe and effective in IFX-naïve patients and those who switched from a prior IFX reference or biosimilar.
Number 3: Sarfaraz K. Niazi, PhD, examined the new FDA guideline that acts as an invitation to biosimilar developers to decrease the cost of testing, potentially opening the door for companies to reduce nonclinical testing of biosimilars entirely.
